We installed a snoezelen environment in the bathrooms of a children’s hospice, the second of its kind in Japan and the first in the Kanto region, and produced the video and music to be played there.The theme of the event is fun for children and healing for adults.Children can choose from a variety of combinations of color lighting, video and music.

We were the first in Japan to introduce snooze rooms in regular elementary schools.A snoezelen room for children with disabilities would inevitably be expensive if the environment were to be set up, and it could not be introduced in its original form, so we proposed an environment with the minimum necessary equipment and alternatives.

When we first visited, the Japanese-style room that used to be a snoezelen room had been turned into a warehouse.We remodeled that room and turned it into a white room and black corner.
For the interior, we collaborated with a designer, Masako Azumae, and held a workshop for users to paint with glowing ink based on her SOUL WORK design.
An original room was completed by decorating the black corner with illustrations from that time.
